The Pre-Holiday lazy

What is is about a holidays that makes us just want to go home from work and do nothing. I'm sitting in my office, one of the few actually still here, fighting an all time low of motivation to get work done. I have this overwhelming urge to just go home sit on my comfortable sofa and stuff my face with frosted sugar cookies and hot cocoa. People in this office have been dropping like grease off a good burger today, as it is the last work day before Christmas. Why is it that this happens? Is it the stress of getting everything done before the holiday? I don't think so otherwise I would want to go home and decorate or wrap presents instead of over indulging on cookies and chocolate. I'm not sure what it is but I know that it's happening to me. Just look at how much I've put in this blog today.

I assumed I was pretty much a Geek through and through but apparently I'm cooler that I thought.

Sometimes my job can be really fun. I spent a couple hours yesterday playing with some software that my work has for a trail period. So I played. I made this 3D world which is not made up at all. This is actually a model of a real place and was derived from real data. I made a couple videos that would fly the viewer through the area but was unable to get them to load into YouTube or this blog. Technology is just plain fun.
